Our client is an agricultural company farming more than 2000 hectare under irrigation. They are building a hydro turbine facility to generate electricity and need the hydraulic slow closing butterfly valves for the hydro turbines and pumps.

According to the layout of the turbine room as below, we design 2pcs of PN10 DN600 hydraulic butterfly valves for pumps and 2pcs of PN10 DN1000 hydraulic butterfly valves for hydro turbine.

The DN1000 hydraulic butterfly valves will be installed at inlet of hydro turbine to cut off the flow into the turbine when accident happen.

The DN600 hydraulic butterfly valves will be installed at outlet of pumps to avoid the return flow into the pumps.

These hydraulic butterfly valves will be closed slowly to eliminate the water hammer to protect the pipeline equipments.
