YFL Side entry cryogenic ball valves have floating ball type and trunnioun mounted ball type.
The cryogenic ball valves adopt advanced lip-seal sealing technology with PCTFE seat to ensure excellent sealing performance in ultra-low temperature of -196℃. All mechanical parts of the cryogenic ball valves need to be done with low temperature treatment to prevent deformation under low temperature working conditions and ensure reliable sealing.
The cryogenic mediums like LNG, LPG are usually flammable and explosive, fire or static can cause explosion, so the fire safe design and anti-static design of cryogenic ball valves are very important. Springs as conduction device are installed between valve stem and valve body, between valve stem and and ball to
eliminate the static electricity and avoid explosion accident.
When there is high rising of working temperature of ambient temperature, the liquefied gas will vaporize and expand. And then the pressure in the closed valve cavity will be increased by times, there will be leakage caused by over high pressure and the valve body may crack and cause terrible accident. So cavity automatic pressure relief design is adopted to release excessive pressure and ensure the cryogenic ball valves work safely.
