YFL rack and pinion pneumatic actuators are suitable for industrial valves which need 90 degree rotary motion to realize open or close. There are two types of rack and pinion pneumatic actuators：double acting and single acting spring return.
With double acting rack and pinion pneumatic actuator, both open and close operation needs air supply. When the air supply is failure, the valve will stay at the position before failure.
With single acting spring return rack and pinion pneumatic actuator, when there is no air supply, the pressed spring will return in opposite direction to open or close the valve. When the air supply is failure, the valve is closed,it is called failure closed (FC). When the air supply is failure, the valve is opened, it is called failure opened (FO).
The body of rack and pinion pneumatic actuators can be cast Aluminium or stainless steel according to different working conditions. And there are accessories like limit switch, solenoid valve, positioner, filter & regulator available for different control requirements.
